SC Seeks Early Hearing On Delhi HC Designations

Supreme Court directed lawyers to circulate a letter requesting an early hearing of a plea challenging the Delhi High Court’s senior advocate designations. Recently, 70 lawyers were designated as senior advocates after evaluation by a permanent committee. The process sparked controversy when senior advocate Sudhir Nandrajog resigned, claiming the final list was prepared without his consent.
