Flight Attendant Injured After Falling From Plane At East Midlands Airport

An investigation has been launched after a TUI Airways flight attendant fell from a plane at East Midlands Airport on December 16. As the aircraft prepared for departure, the attendant opened the door, unaware the stairs had been removed, stepping into the void and falling to the tarmac. She was airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre with serious injuries. EMAS responded to the medical emergency.
