ICC Penalizes India 5% Match Fee For Over Rate Violation

India lost to Australia in the 2025 ICC Women’s ODI World Cup match on October 12. Following the match, the ICC fined Team India 5% of their match fee for maintaining a slow over rate, having bowled one over short of the required quota. The penalty was imposed under Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct.
