Delhi Struggles With Heavy Rains And Poor Air Quality

On Friday, heavy rains in Delhi were accompanied by dense smog, worsening air quality and visibility. Experts attributed the fog to trapped pollution from condensation. The air quality index (AQI) worsened to 353, remaining in the ‘very poor’ category, despite moderate rain. The AQI scale categorizes readings from 0-50 as ‘good’ to 301-400 as ‘very poor’.
