Air Purifier & Mask Sales Surge As Delhi’s AQI Hits ‘Severe Plus’

As air pollution in Delhi and the National Capital Region reached alarming levels, sales of air purifiers and masks have surged, according to local traders. On Monday, Delhi’s air quality deteriorated to the ‘severe plus’ category, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) hitting 484, the worst reading of the season, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
