“Shiv Sena & RSS United By Hindutva, But…”: Sanjay Raut

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Thursday said that while the RSS and the undivided Shiv Sena were united by the common thread of Hindutva, their ideologies have always been distinct. He also recalled how, in 1975, Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray resisted pressure to merge with Congress, preserving the party’s independence, despite their shared Hindutva values.
