In east Delhi’s Dallupura, 28-year-old Pawan Kumar allegedly shot himself in the chest with a licensed pistol on March 16 while his cousin Himanshu recorded a video. The clip, now viral, shows Pawan loading the gun, smiling at the camera, then firing. Himanshu is heard warning him not to shoot and later screaming in shock. Pawan was declared dead at hospital.
