IIT Delhi Transfers Bulletproof Jacket Technology To 3 Firms

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) have transferred the technology of the Advanced Ballistics for High Energy Defeat (ABHED) bulletproof jacket to three companies: Midhani (Rohtak), SMPP Pvt Ltd (Delhi), and AR Polymers (Kanpur), which is a lightweight jacket that weighs at least 30% less than the usual 9 kg version.
