‘₹60,000 Crore Investment Opportunity By Railways In West Bengal’

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Wednesday announced a ₹60,000 crore investment opportunity for West Bengal. He noted that 61 projects are stalled due to land handover issues and urged the TMC government to prioritize cooperation over politics. He emphasized that investment is contingent on state government collaboration, mentioning 26 km of halted Metro projects.
