The highly anticipated sequel to the 2018 horror-comedy hit, ‘Stree 2’, has unveiled its trailer, promising a thrilling and hilarious ride. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film brings back the beloved ensemble cast, including Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi.
The trailer picks up where the first film left off, with the town of Chanderi once again facing a supernatural threat, but this time it’s not the spirit of ‘Stree’. Instead, the residents, led by Rao’s character Vicky, must confront a new menace – the headless monster known as ‘Sarkata’.
To aid them in their fight, Shraddha Kapoor’s mysterious character from the previous film returns, and the townspeople turn to her for protection, chanting “O stree raksha karna” instead of the familiar “O stree kal aana”.
The trailer seamlessly blends chilling visuals of the deadly ‘Sarkata’ with hilarious one-liners, such as Tripathi’s Rudra Bhaiya quipping that the monster is an “influencer” who has come to Chanderi solely to increase his followers.This perfect balance of horror and comedy is sure to delight fans of the franchise.
