Mahabubnagar native Raju Yadav (Getup Srinu) has an entirely different existence after being hit by a cricket ball. Raju Yadav has a facial condition, as a result of which he constantly smiles. Raju’s family is unable to pay for the surgery, despite the doctors’ advice. While Raju’s life is falling apart, he meets Sweety (Ankitha Kharat) one day and falls in love with her right away. The main plot point of the tale is how Sweety transformed Raju’s life.
Pros:
The main character, played by Raju Yadav, is required to have the same expression no matter what happens in the film. Getup Srinu performed admirably in this love drama, despite the fact that this is undoubtedly a difficult undertaking. Even in sequences where the writing is weak, the actor made numerous attempts to improve the picture. One or two amusing scenes with Getup Srinu and his friends make people chuckle. The emotional scenes with Ananda Chakrapani and Getup Srinu at the conclusion are nice, and he did a fantastic job portraying the hero’s father.
Cons:
The fundamental idea of Raju Yadav is intriguing, but the screenplay falls short in this regard. The interesting notion could not be turned into a rollercoaster ride by the literary team. The majority of the movie is dull, with sequences that are so badly written that they barely have any impact.
The public debate was sparked by the heroine’s portrayal in Raju Yadav, which bears a strong parallel to the female lead characters in a few successful blockbuster films. As a result, there is nothing particularly thrilling happening, and it is easy to predict where the film will go. Even though Ankitha Kharat performed admirably, the storyline is too predictable for us to relate to her character. Not everything about the movie is the same as it seems. Raju Yadav lacks emotional depth, and the entire length is filled with dull parts, with the exception of the finale sequences. There are a lot of sequences that require patience, but the editing is not up to par.
Technical Aspects:
The music of Harshavardhan Rameshwar is mediocre. Suresh Bobbili did a mediocre job with the background music. Both the production values and the cinematography by Sai Ram are respectable. The way Krishnamachary directed is not up to standard. The writers utilized a tried-and-true template, but the writing falls flat. The hero’s actions are inconsistent, and the film lacks clarity as well.
Verdict:
As a whole, Raju Yadav is a dull love drama with a plot that seems redundant these days. In a few entertaining instances, Getup Srinu does a pretty decent job portraying the character. That being said, the remainder of the film is rather dull, and the action is inconsistent throughout. As a result, watching Raju Yadav is frustrating.
