After a recent TTD board resolution, higher authorities have directed Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams to process voluntary retirement for 33 non-Hindu employees. Staff have been asked to submit consent within 10 days. While nine employees have already opted for VRS, 33 are pending. Reports also suggest some employees identify as Hindu but attend church prayer.
Preparations are in full swing for Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations on December 30 at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadagirigutta, TG. Temple authorities are installing temporary grills to facilitate separate darshan arrangements for VIPs. Officials confirmed that Srivani Darshan ticket issuance will resume from January 9.
