GHMC officials are organizing Ganesh idol immersions by setting up 74 pools across Hyderabad. These include special pools for small idols, pre-fabricated tread pools, and temporary pools to accommodate the large number of devotees. The arrangements aim to ensure smooth and eco-friendly idol immersions within GHMC limits during the festival.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) recorded a single-day sale of 4,86,134 laddus on July 12, generating ₹2.43 crore, a 35% rise from last year’s 3.24 lakh. Laddu production also increased from 1.04 crore in July last year to 1.25 crore this year, reflecting growing demand and devotion among devotees.

At Tirumala temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, devotees are waiting in 25 compartments for darshan today. Sarvadarshan without tokens currently takes around 14 hours. On Wednesday, August 20, 75,688 devotees had darshan of Lord Venkateswara, and 29,099 offered tonsuring. The TTD reported a Hundi collection of ₹4.45 crore on the same day.
The annual Brahmotsavams at Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple, located in Yadagirigutta, Yadadri district, concluded on Tuesday night. The priests performed the Ashtotara Shata Ghatabhishekam and Srungara Dolotsavam at the Prakara Mandapam of the temple. Ashtottarakalasha worship was held at the Mahamukha Mandapam of the main temple.
In view of the Ugadhi festival rush, Srisailam Temple Executive Officer Srinivasarao has instructed authorities to ensure that 12 lakh laddu prasadam are available for devotees.
