The removal of Ganesh idols immersed in Hyderabad’s Hussain Sagar has begun. GHMC sanitation workers are actively clearing waste and litter from the lake. Officials reported that over 4,800 tons of waste were removed by Sunday night, with an estimated 6,800 tons still remaining to be cleared in the ongoing cleanup effort.
Following the lunar eclipse, Telangana government authorities reopened the Srilakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Yadagirigutta. Temple priests performed Samprokshan at 3:30 AM, followed by Suprabhata Seva, Binde Tirdham, Bala Bhogam, and Nizabhishekam. Regular pujas resumed, and devotees were allowed darshan from 8:30 AM as per tradition after the eclipse.

Prominent Hindu temples will close today due to the lunar eclipse. Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, Vijayawada Durgamma Temple, Srisailam Temple, Bhadrachalam Temple, Yadadri Temple, Simhachalam, and many other temples will be closed.
