According to S&P Global Ratings, which released its projection on Tuesday, India's GDP growth will hit 7% in the 2026–2027 fiscal year, making it the third largest economy in the world by 2030. According to S&P's Global Credit Outlook 2024, GDP grew by 6.4% in the fiscal year that ended in March 2024 (2023–2024) as opposed to 7.2% in the preceding fiscal year.
WhatsApp will allow its users to share status updates on Instagram. In this regard, WhatsApp is working on its new feature to be compatible with Instagram, giving users the option to share updates on both platforms.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) reported that just Rs 9,760 crore worth of Rs 2,000 denomination banknotes are still in circulation after banks received 97.26% of them. On May 19, the RBI declared the removal of banknotes with a denomination of Rs 2,000 from circulation.
