The Tata Curvv coupe SUV is poised for its launch today, marking Tata Motors’ debut in the coupe SUV segment. The Curvv will initially be available in an electric variant, with petrol and diesel options expected to follow later. This new model will directly compete with the upcoming Citroen Basalt, which is set to launch in India soon. The Curvv features a distinctive design with European influences typical of a coupe SUV. Its exterior includes a sloping roofline that transitions smoothly into a flat rear end, accentuated by sharp, slim connected tail lamps. The rear bumper is styled with multiple creases, adding a touch of flair to the SUV’s rear section. At the front, the Curvv bears a resemblance to the Tata Nexon, featuring a bold grille, slim, connected LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and projector headlights situated lower in the bumper.
In terms of dimensions, the Tata Curvv measures 4,308 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,630 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,560 mm. The boot space is estimated to be around 422 litres, providing ample cargo capacity. The Curvv is equipped with a range of features, including a panoramic sunroof, Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 10.25-inch instrument cluster display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, ambient lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror (IRVM), and a powered tailgate. For its electric variant, the Curvv will offer two battery pack options. While full details on the battery and motor specifications are still awaited, it is anticipated that the SUV will feature a 50 kW battery, promising a range of approximately 450-500 km on a full charge. This blend of stylish design and advanced features positions the Tata Curvv as a strong contender in the evolving SUV market.
