Zhong Yang, a female official in China known as “the beautiful governor,” has been sentenced to 13 years in prison and fined one million yuan (around ₹ 1.18 crore) for misconduct. Serving as governor in Qiannan prefecture, Guizhou province, she was found guilty of engaging in sexual relations with 58 male subordinates and accepting nearly 60 million yuan in bribes.
