A Central GST Superintendent, Mohit Pratap Singh, was caught on camera allegedly accepting an ₹8 lakh bribe in Bengaluru. The Lokayukta trap operation was conducted at his office in Koramangala. He allegedly demanded the bribe to close a false complaint over pending GST dues. A mediator was also named.
