Delhi HC Hearing PIL On Addictive Social Media Design Features

The Delhi High Court asked the Centre whether it plans to regulate addictive social media features like infinite scroll and autoplay. The court will hear the PIL, filed by law professor Vikas Kathuria, after three weeks. It seeks an expert committee to examine engagement-maximising design features and recommend safeguards for users, especially children.
