At least 11 people were killed and seven others injured after a fuel tanker exploded following a traffic accident in western Iran on Saturday. The blast occurred on an intercity road between Sanandaj County and Hamedan County, setting several nearby vehicles on fire. Rescue teams evacuated the injured to a Sanandaj hospital as operations continued.
