Census 2027 Enumeration To Begin From Dec 1

Census 2027 population enumeration will be held in Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and non-snow-bound Uttarakhand from December 1, 2026, to January 4, 2027, the Registrar General of India said. Self-enumeration will be available from November 16 to 30. The exercise has been advanced in poll-bound states, whose assembly terms end by May 2027.
