IIT Kanpur Study Finds Clues To Antidepressant Response

A study by IIT Kanpur and GSVM Medical College found that brain and stomach signals may predict how patients respond to antidepressants within 7–10 days. Researchers used EEG, EGG and symptom data from 206 participants. The model showed 77.3% accuracy, helping doctors identify possible nonresponders earlier and support more personalised depression treatment.
