Mohan Meakin, maker of Old Monk rum, has agreed to change bottle labels following FSSAI concerns over ageing claims and use of artificial flavourings. The company will remove "7 years old blended" claims and mention added flavourings on new labels. FSSAI had halted sales of Old Monk and other brands in Maharashtra.
