A Congress social media worker, P Mahender, was allegedly beaten by a sub-inspector at a police station in Telangana’s Nagarkurnool district. Mahender also accused the officer of urinating on him. Police admitted that he was beaten but questioned the urination claim. An inquiry has been ordered, while the BSP demanded the officer’s suspension.
