In Ghaziabad, a thief robbed a mobile shop just 400 meters away while police were busy in an encounter. The thief stole phones worth Rs 6 lakh and Rs 20,000 cash. The shop owner discovered the theft the next morning. Police were engaged in a separate operation at the time.
