A 23-year-old design student was allegedly raped by a security guard on the terrace of her Ahmedabad housing society late Saturday evening. The accused, Dharam Singh from Uttar Pradesh, allegedly strangled her with a wire until she blacked out, then assaulted her. She raised an alarm after regaining consciousness. Police arrested him after checking CCTV footage.
