Telangana has set eligibility restrictions for new social security pensions. Applicants owning more than 3 acres of wetland or 7.5 acres of dryland will be excluded. TG govt, private, outsourcing and contract employees, doctors, contractors and certain business owners are also ineligible. The rules additionally exclude those receiving freedom-fighter pensions.
