Swiggy & Zomato To Face New Bike-Taxi Rules In MH

Maharashtra may soon bring food-delivery and e-commerce platforms such as Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit and Zepto under its bike-taxi regulatory framework. The Transport Dept is considering amendments to the Maharashtra Bike-Taxi Rules, 2025, extending their scope to companies operating delivery fleets. The proposed changes have been sent to the Law Dept for review.
