Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu said the state has distributed land worth Rs 52,000 crore to the poor. He gave house-site pattas to 26,000 families in Vijayawada, with plots valued at Rs 50 lakh to Rs 2 crore each. Naidu said the coalition government is fulfilling its promises and vowed to complete 36 irrigation projects in three years.
