A Game of Thrones movie, "Aegon's Conquest," will release on June 6, 2029. Owen Harris will direct, and Beau Willimon will write the screenplay. The story is set centuries before the HBO series and focuses on Aegon I, founder of the Targaryen dynasty, and his conquest of Westeros. The cast is not yet known. The original series ran from 2011 to 2019.
