Mumbai Property Registrations Hit 12,622 In September

Mumbai recorded 12,622 property registrations in September, up 5 per cent from last year and the highest for the month in over 14 years, according to Knight Frank India. Stamp duty collections fell 5 per cent to Rs 1,227 crore. The Ganesh Chaturthi period saw 5,379 registrations, up 22 per cent. Demand remains strong, but buyers are selective.
