The Indian Coast Guard rescued 23 crew members from unstable chemical tanker MT Seagull 9 off Paradip, Odisha. Carrying 9,000 MT of palm oil, the vessel was stabilised by removing water and sealing damaged pipelines. Coast Guard units monitored pollution risks, while an aircraft confirmed the oil sheen had dissipated. The tanker was safely towed towards Paradip.
