Secunderabad's footpaths are broken or blocked. A survey found none meet the required walking width. Tiles are dug up, garbage dumped, and bikes, vendors, and carts take over. Pedestrians, including students and the elderly, walk on busy roads. Even the Cantonment and Tarnaka lack usable pavements. Residents have lost hope of any fix.
