NALSAR students in Hyderabad screened a documentary on jailed activist Umar Khalid. The film, "Prisoner No. 626710 is Present", was shown in solidarity. Earlier, the screening was cancelled at IIIT Hyderabad, and eight students got warnings. The CBFC said uncertified public screenings violate the Cinematograph Act. Khalid was arrested in 2020 under UAPA.
