Delhi-NCR Fuel Pumps Put Up ‘No UPI, Only Cash’ Boards

Several CNG and petrol pumps in Delhi-NCR have displayed “No UPI, Only Cash” signs over concerns about the proposed 0.4% MDR charge on UPI payments above ₹2,000. Petrol pump and trader groups oppose the charge, saying it will increase costs and hurt businesses. The Finance Ministry denies US pressure and says it does not expect cash use to rise.
