Buildings under the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) that are more than 50 years old may soon undergo safety audits. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that it follows the Satya Niketan building collapse that claimed 7 lives. Inspections could be held every 3, 5 or 10 years, while the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has been urged to strengthen monitoring.
