Indian athletes could participate in the South Asian Games scheduled to be held in Pakistan in April 2027. Events are expected across Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar, with the Indian Olympic Association agreeing in principle to send a contingent. However, final clearance from Centre is awaited. The Games are set to feature athletes competing across 28 sports.
