BRS women MLAs alleged police manhandled them - grabbing throats, pulling hair, tearing a saree, during a protest outside the Telangana Assembly in black T-shirts over unfulfilled Congress promises. Police cited lack of permission for the attire. KTR and others were detained. BRS called it an "insult to women" and demanded action.
