Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said the government will mandate periodic structural audits and safety certifications for public-use buildings, including PGs, nursing homes, and schools. Unsafe premises will not operate. Evacuated students will receive accommodation and support, while officials responsible for negligence or lapses will face strict action, Gupta said.
