Mithun Announces 30% Film Subsidy For Shoots In Bengal

Actor-politician Mithun Chakraborty, recently named West Bengal’s cultural advisor, announced a 30% subsidy for film productions shooting in the state. He said the move aims to attract filmmakers from across India and revive Bengal’s film industry. The announcement came after CM Suvendu Adhikari unveiled a ₹25-crore Uttam Kumar Film Centre in New Town.
