The RBI may raise the repo rate to 6% by April 2027 as excess liquidity affects markets, a Bandhan AMC report said. Rising energy and commodity prices, uneven monsoons and strong economic growth could increase inflation risks. The report expects the RBI to take steps to control excess liquidity and gradually normalise monetary policy.
