West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari announced actor-politician Mithun Chakraborty as the state government’s new cultural advisor. The announcement came during the foundation ceremony of the ₹25-crore Uttam Kumar Film Centre in New Town. The centre will have cinemas, an auditorium, theatres, studios and labs for animation, gaming, VFX and film production.
