Nagpur Police have banned Dolby sound, modified sound systems, DJ vehicles, beam lights and laser lights in the city until November 1. Police said sound systems must follow permitted noise limits, or legal action will be taken. The order has drawn criticism from VHP and BJP leaders, who questioned why it was issued during Hindu festivals.
