Stock Markets Open In Red Today For 3rd Straight Day

Indian stock markets opened sharply lower today, Sept 2, extending their losing streak for the third consecutive session. The Sensex fell 735.09 points, or 0.95%, to 76,211.15, while the Nifty 50 declined 231.05 points, or 0.95%, to 23,827.11. The rupee traded at ₹95.05 against the US dollar as investors remained cautious amid mixed global oil market signals.
