The Delhi government will provide free solar panels to around 2.3 lakh households using up to 400 electricity units. It will also cover maintenance costs. The Centre and Delhi government will each provide ₹78,000 for 3kW systems. Installations up to 10kW will have no registration fee, with the rollout targeted for March 2027.
