A dam safety expert panel has arrived in AP's Nellore to inspect the Somasila Dam across the Penna River. Led by Chairman Gopal Reddy, the panel includes experts Venkateswarlu and Srikanth. The team will assess the dam's condition and safety today and tomorrow before submitting its findings to Central govt. The panel will inspect Kandaleru Reservoir on Sept 1.
