A 68-year-old beggar, Hoor, died in Mandya, Karnataka, due to age-related illness. Locals found over Rs 8.40 lakh in coins and small notes stuffed inside more than 30 sacks at her rented home. She lived with her sister, who died two years ago; neither was married. The cash was handed to her brothers.
