UIDAI Extends Free Aadhaar Biometric Update For Children

UIDAI has announced that mandatory Aadhaar biometric updates for children aged 5 to 17 will remain free until Sept 30. Parents should update their child’s biometrics at ages five and 15. The update helps keep Aadhaar records accurate and supports access to school admissions, exams, scholarships and govt services. Parents should visit an Aadhaar centre.
