The army safely destroyed a live mortar shell discovered in the Mankote sector along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district. A bomb disposal squad carried out a controlled operation in the Dabraj area. Officials said the shell was neutralised without casualties or property damage. The area was secured afterward.
