The Telangana Cabinet approved a ₹200-crore scheme to help auto drivers switch from petrol and diesel vehicles to electric autos. Eligible drivers can get up to ₹1.5 lakh per vehicle for an electric conversion kit or a new EV. The Cabinet also approved funds for irrigation, residential schools, skill development and paddy e-auctions.
