India has sent the first batch of 19 new passenger coaches to Bangladesh, resuming supplies after nearly a decade. The coaches were made at the Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala and are part of a 200-coach order. The new coaches are expected to improve rail services, replace older coaches and strengthen connectivity in southwestern Bangladesh.
